The pyro metallurgical process known as Casting, covers several production techniques, and the choice of it depends on the customer's need for dimensional precision, surface finishing and the refinement of the parts.
We currently work with two distinct processes within our manufacturing unit, these being:
Shell Molding
Cold Cure
Shell Molding
This type of process is used for molds for parts with relatively small dimensions, where surface finishing and dimensional precision are required.
The parts manufactured through shell molding have an excellent finish, proving to be high quality products and also with high resistance and excellent durability.
The mold is made to order, to perfectly meet the specifications of the part to be cast.

Cold Cure
The “cold cure” method uses chemical agents mixed in sand to produce the mold or core. The sand, mixed with chemical agents in a continuous mixer, is placed in the molding box until it completely covers it. After curing, the model is removed and the two parts of the box (top and bottom) are joined, allowing the metal to leak. After cooling, the casting is removed from the mold. The sand used in the mold is then broken down, passing through the regenerator, where the resin and fines are removed, making it ready to be used again.
